In the early years of our stay in diaspora, we watched all types of Nigerian movies for entertainment, relaxation and connecting with our culture. However, in the year 2007, we re-dedicated our lives to the Lord Jesus Christ. After years of spiritual lukewarmness and coldness, the Lord gave us the opportunity to retrace our spiritual root in Christ Jesus through a marital dispute. Our re-dedication marked the beginning of a more heaven focused and Holy ghost powered journey. As we continued a deeper relationship with Christ, we begin to have a deeper and more outstanding encounter with Christ.

We began to take honest inventory of our lives, relationships and re-prioritizing our core values. We prayerfully chose to watch only Spirit filled Christian movies especially, Nigerian Christian movies. This afforded us the opportunity to be ministered to as well as passing on our Nigerian culture in the context of our most important values to our Nigerian Kids abroad. This one decision we made to consistently watch Christian movies produced by Spirit filled Christian Film and Drama ministries has totally changed both we as parents and our children. We have been greatly ministered to and we are more focused on the major reason why we are on this earth. That is, to honor and reverence God and to allow our lights to shine in the midst of the darkness all around. Many times we have found ourselves pausing some movies, such as Ogo Abawaye Part 1& 2, and having to pray as these movies are eye openers with deep revelation from God.

Our children are also being positively influenced by these Spirit filled movies. They enjoy great movies such as The youthful lust, Back to Babylon, etc. Such movies help them in making right decisions in their everyday living and they are conscious of the likely repercussions of following wrong advices. They are always excited to watch these movies and we make it a point to invest in buying these movies, indeed, this has been a very worthwhile investment.

In the last few years, God has in His divine grace connected us with some of the producers of these Spirit filled Nigerian Christian movies. These producers have been used by God with all their ministrations through drama and film production. They were also gracious enough to make their productions legally available for free through internet video sites like Youtube.com and the rest. My family have been a great beneficiary to this act of “media outreach” in addition to the paid VCDs we often purchase. We have sometime in our own way exerted effort to publicize the free availability of these life transforming Spirit filled Christian movies to as many Nigerians in diaspora as possible and also to non Nigerians.

Sometime in 2008, we got the inspiration from God to make these Spirit filled Christian movies known to as many people as possibly. We believe many will be saved through these ministrations. We also believe many will be restored, backsliders will return to their Creator, many will be delivered from bondages, many will turn from their wickedness to God and God will release His grace and mercy upon all through this ministrations. We believe this is the first stage of this vision/inspiration from God, we hope to work closely with the producers of these spirit filled Nigerian Christian Drama Ministries for the subsequent phases.  We need your prayers, ideas and comment.
